Wamwayi's Story
Wamwayi, a boy, was born September 2021 and rescued at 2 months old from the South Luangwa National Park.
Wamwayi meaning “lucky one” in the local language Chinyanja was found alone stuck deep in a mud hole. There was no sign of his mother to help him out.
Although still gaining confidence and initially keen to assert his dominance at the new arrival, Mataya, he then sort the safety of Mabila’s company to investigate the newcomer.
PRINT
Limited to a small edition of 50 Fine Art prints, each print is supplied unmounted and unframed with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and the story of the elephant orphan.
Produced using a high quality, slightly textured Matt/310gsm German Etching 100% cotton paper with a warm white hue to create an exquisite giclée print.
