Mataya’s Story:

Mataya, a boy, was born in January 2023 and rescued at 2 months old from the Lower Zambezi National Park area.

He was found alone having suffered several machete wounds resulting from human/wildlife conflict (note his tail) and was initially very weak.

He is now thriving, with his wounds having healed and is a bold, energetic, and feisty little character, often nudging the others into playing.

Limited to a small edition of 50 Fine Art prints, each print is supplied unmounted and unframed with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and the story of the elephant orphan.  

Produced using a high quality, slightly textured Matt/310gsm German Etching 100% cotton paper with a warm white hue to create an exquisite giclée print.
