Julia Cassels is a British, award winning  wildlife artist, who is now based in the UK after several years of living and working in Tanzania and Zambia.

Her work is found in collections worldwide.

In 2021, Julia was one of two artists awarded first prize in our AFPD Autumn Exhibition for her lively and stunning watercolour 'Ostriches Two' below.

Part of her prize was spent out in Zambia working alongside Game Rangers International (GRI) whom we had supported during that exhibition.  Julia met many of the elephant orphans in GRI's care at their rescue facility doing many quick sketches and paintings of them, whilst getting to know some of the orphan's behaviour and personalities!  This reference material gathered at source, then lead Julia on to more complete pieces once back in her UK studio and this exhibition is a culmination of those wonderful artworks. 

We are very excited to bring you her portfolio of stunning art below, of which a percentage from sales will be donated back to GRI and the orphans.
